Joint artistic performances in Europe

Performance in Ireland with El-Funoun dancers
Dancers Lour Amin and Mohammad Safadi from El-Funoun participated in a contemporary performance by Irish director and friend of the troupe, Catherine Young, in her latest production Floating on the Dead Sea, which was inspired by her visit to Palestine a few years ago.

The original plan was for her to work with the troupe during a residency, filming and collaborating with the dancers in Palestine in the winter of 2023, but the project was halted due to unfolding events.

Given these circumstances, it was decided to host El-Funoun dancers in the final phase of the project in Ireland, with a series of performances taking place in various cities, starting on September 16 and ending on November 3, 2024.
